To optimise your energy purchasing costs we designed a wide range of advanced products that only a few other energy companies can match. The choice of the most appropriate product depends on the type of consumption and the level of market risk taken. Our experts will prepare your best energy purchasing strategy and create a completely customised product that will fit your needs perfectly.

  • Locked price product: for companies that want to know in advance the exact cost of the purchased energy, so that they can establish a fixed price and amount of energy for the entire contract period.
  • Indexed price product: for companies that prefer some flexibility and want to purchase the required amount of energy step by step – at those moments when energy prices on the market are most favourable. In this way, risks of energy purchase are effectively dispersed.
  • Portfolio management: for companies that want to diversify the risk of price fluctuations and take advantage of all the opportunities offered by such a structured purchase of energy. Green Certificates

We can provide sustainably-oriented companies, for which ecological responsibility is an important factor in choosing the source of electricity production, with green energy produced from renewables.

Guarantees of Origin

The origin of green energy is proven with European Guarantees of Origin demonstrating that the electricity was produced exclusively from renewable sources. Membership in the European Energy Certificate System (EECS) enables us to provide carbon-free electricity produced in accordance with Directive 2009/28/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources, which is recognised by the EU Member States.

Innovative Products

Demand Response

Development of innovative products with the aim to create added value for our business partners, is one of the most recognisable features of GEN-I. We help partners who wish to become actively involved in the electricity market to maximise the utilisation of their production or consumption facilities and thus create additional, often underutilised, source of revenue.

We are a pioneer supplier in Europe in offering demand response services in order to exploit market opportunities on intraday markets, balancing market and ancillary services market. We enable large business customers and smaller producers to integrate in the ancillary services market to ensure reserve power necessary for the implementation of reserve power. Currently, our latest product is already successfully marketed in Austria, but in the future, we intend to offer it on other Western European markets and in Slovenia as well.
